On the 30 of May at 11:a.m. in the restaurant «Dacha» will take place the first lesson of the culinary mastery for children. The opening of child culinary school «Milk&Cheese» and the first lesson are timed to the Day of Children’s Defense. The teaching is held under the direction of the experienced chef and pedagogue Oksana Perkina.
The child culinary school «Milk&Cheese» is oriented on the children in the age 7-12 years old. The teaching will allow to the children to get the knowledge about the healthy food and also to learn the first simple recipes which will help to the little students to grow into the real gourmets. The lessons will be held in the groups up to 20 persons in two stages which will last 45 minutes each stage and will consist the break within 15 minutes. At the first lesson of the school the young cooks will learn how to cook the pastry, to work with the rolling pin and also they will cook by themselves the apple baked in the pastry and the salad. At the next lessons of the course the young cooks will cook the favorite children dishes: mashed potatoes with chicken cutlets and vegetable mix. They will bake the pancakes with the filling, make the cookies and will learn how to cook by themselves the treating to the party for their friends Under the direction of the professor of child faculty Oksana Perkina who combines the qualities of the cook and the experienced pedagogue the pupils of «Milk&Cheese» will learn how to know what is really health and delicious from the very young age.
Saveliy Libkin, restarateur: «For me as a father of two daughters it is important that my children will be an expert in the real products, understand the culture of meal and drinking but it is difficult and uneffective to impose my own understanding of right meal to the children. On the other hand children teaching with pleasure something new,especially that things that usually do their parents. It’s my opinion that one should learn how to cook simultaneously with teaching of writing then our children will know that popcorn and cola are rather a forage then a meal and some time later they will learn how to cook the most simple patties and how to boil the most simple compote».
